Hollywood biggie Avatar Way Of Water released this Friday in middle of lot of expectations as master film maker James Cameron returns to big screen after a decade.
Film has revived rather modest reviews in pre release screening but such a big spectacle can not be affected by it. Film was set for mammoth opening on day one and it was set for minimum 35 cr nett day one in Indian markets but film surpassed that expectations by some margin.
National Chains poised with 19.25 cr Gross All India 41 cr nett and 48.75 cr gross on day one AlI India ! Film only collected 28% in Hindi markets in National chains all India. Film collected 19.87 cr nett on day two with even lower 26% share from Hindi language.
Film collected following numbers all India on four :
Friday – 41 cr nett
Saturday – 42 cr nett (3% jump)
Sunday – 46 cr nett (9.50% jump)
Monday – 18.50 cr nett (55% drop)
Total – 147.50 cr nett
Total Gross – 102 cr
Fil will cross 129 cr nett today as film is set for 46 cr day three and that will take film beyond 158 cr gross over weekend.
As expected to drop, film dropped big today by 18.50-19 cr nett with drop of 55% drop. Now film has total of 147.50 cr nett in 4 days and it should collect 185 cr nett minimum in week one. 2nd weekend will be huge again due to festival.
