Ajay Devgn is a film actor, director, and producer in the Hindi film industry. He made his acting debut in the 1991 film Phool Aur Kaante, for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
Devgn’s performances in Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha and the political drama Zakhm (both 1998) earned him critical praise, with the latter earning him a National Film Award for Best Actor. Devgn founded his production company, Ajay Devgn FFilms, in 2000.
For his portrayal of the rebel Bhagat Singh, he got his second National Film Award.
