Kartik Aaryan is riding high on the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which has crossed a whopping Rs 200 crore at the box office. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the horror-comedy has cemented Kartik’s position as one of Bollywood’s top stars.
While Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 continues to dominate, Kartik is already gearing up for his next big project: the sequel to his 2018 hit, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Sources close to the actor tell us that Kartik has agreed to the sequel, which will be his next major project after BB3 & Pati Patni Aur Woh 2. The actor was reportedly drawn to the sequel’s concept right away and agreed to return for the much-anticipated follow-up.
The team is already in the process of casting, with makers on the lookout for fresh faces to complement the existing ensemble.
In addition to Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 2, Kartik has other exciting projects lined up. Before this sequel, He is set to star in Pati Patni Aur Woh 2, directed by Mudassar Aziz, which will take the film’s story further.
It all happened due to a slight delay in his film with Anurag Basu, as the director is reshooting some portions of Metro In Dino, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan. As a result, Kartik’s collaboration with Basu has been postponed to 2025.
Kartik Secretly Shot Some Portions For Anurag Basu’s Next
Interestingly, Kartik has secretly shot a few portions for Basu’s film, which will see him sharing the screen with Triptii Dimri. This film has been one of the most anticipated collaborations in recent times, with fans eagerly awaiting more details.
Apart from all these, he has another big franchise on his plate with the third part of the Aashiqui series. However, this project has been temporarily put on hold, with Anurag Basu at the helm, and will likely follow after the director finishes his current commitments.
Kartik was recently spotted at the success bash of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, where he celebrated with the film’s cast, including Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri. Videos and photos from the event quickly went viral, showing Kartik enjoying the moment, cutting the cake with the team, and even having fun with the two ‘Manjulikas’.
