Kartik Aaryan is one of the most exciting and bankable actors in Bollywood right now. Over the past few years, he has starred in several commercially successful films and has cemented his name as one of the established actors in the industry. Lately, Kartik has been gearing up for Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion. Its shooting kickstarted in the second week of July in London. Now we have learned that yesterday, the team of Chandu Champion turned London’s Brunel University into their film set where they shot some important sequences for their film. In total, it was a 10-day shoot. After the shoot was completed, Kartik Aaryan clicked pictures with his fans and gave autographs as well.

About Chandu Champion
Chandu Champion is directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner. The film is based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, who is an army veteran and an accomplished athlete. Petkar is a Paralympic gold medalist who won an individual gold medal in the 1972 Summer Paralympics and also set a world record in the 50 m freestyle swimming event. Kabir Khan and his team will be bringing his life to celluloid where Kartik is playing the lead role. It also stars Kiara Advani, Gajraj Rao, and Supriya Pathak in pivotal roles.
Chandu Champion Has An SSR Connection
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput had first thought about making a film on the life of Petkar and had approached several directors. Reportedly Sushant was committed to doing a sports biopic on the amazing life of Petkar. However, he unfortunately passed away in 2020 and the project was shelved momentarily. After 83, Kabir Khan decided to give it a shot and the project was revived by him. So, in a way, Kartik will be living Sushant’s dream with this film. It is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of Kartik’s career.
