Alaya F and Kartik will come together for the first time in gracing the screens in their upcoming next ‘Freddy’. The film has been shot in Mahabaleshwar. The film has a rather urban niche theme and it’s the same film that was left by Red Chillies and later got made.
Now, the latest rumour is that Kartik Aryan fears that Freddy is suited for Direct-to-digital release as its below-par box office performance might affect his star status post-Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s blockbuster status.

The shoot for Freddy started in the early days of August and the film was wrapped up in a short period of time. Kartik has been ‘all work and no play’ about this film, the duo shot for the first schedule in Mahabaleshwar and continued for the second schedule soon after they returned to Mumbai.
Kartik Aaryan is now enjoying the success of his recently released film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film grossed 122.69 cr at the box office and is still going strong. BB 2 stars Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu and Rajpal Yadav, among others. Akash Kaushik wrote the story, and Farhad Samji and Akash Kaushik wrote the dialogues. On May 20, the film released in theatres.
