SRK’s last outing, Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan grossed more than 1,000 crores at the box-office. To this day, it is the highest-grosser of 2023, the second highest-grossing Bollywood film, and the only Hindi film to gross the 1,000-crore mark without a China release. Earlier, Aamir Khan’s Dangal was able to achieve that feat but after releasing the film in China. Yesterday , we broke the news that the music rights of Jawan have been sold for a whopping ₹36 crores to the popular music label T-Series.

All Time Record Distribution Deal For Jawan

With Pathaan, it has been proven that people love SRK in an action avatar. The makers of Jawan have been able to build on that and create a strong anticipation for the film. Which is why its teaser has been one of the most anticipated for 2023. It has been over six months since people saw Shah Rukh on the big screen and they want to see him again. Now, the Orissa territory of the film has been sold for an all-time record-breaking price to Rajshri. The amount is said to be the highest in the history of Indian cinema. One should know that Orissa is big market for South Indian stars and that makes Jawan massive for the region.

Red Giant Movies is currently established as the leading production house in the Tamil film industry with numerous blockbusters released under their banner including Vikram (2022). Red Giant Movies recently joined hands with Kamal Haasan’s Raj Kamal Films International (RKFI) for the star’s greatly anticipated film to be directed by maverick filmmaker Mani Ratnam. Though as per sources close to production house, deal is yet to be signed.
