Satyaprem Ki Katha is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of this year. The Kartik Aaryan–Kiara Advani starrer romantic drama has been creating a strong buzz ever since its first look was released. After the massive success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik and Kiara are teaming up once again for this project. The box-office result of Vicky Kaushal–Sara Ali Khan starrer Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, which is in the same genre, has increased hopes for Satyaprem Ki Katha to perform similarly at the box office. Since there are no other major releases, the film is expected to mint double digits on its opening day. If that happens, it will become the third biggest opener of Kartik Aaryan’s career after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Love Aaj Kal 2.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 had grossed 14.11 crores on its opening day. Even though Love Aaj Kal was a flop, it generated 12.40 crores in its opener. These figures are followed by the 2019 Pati Patni Aur Woh (9.10 crore), Luka Chuppi (8.01 crore), and Pyaar Ka Punchanama 2 (6.80 crore).

Film is releasing on Thursday on Bakri Eid which means it gets 4 day weekend and one holiday. Film should witness decent advance bookings and day one should be in double digit for ideal weekend.

Kartik-Kiara To Attend a Musical Concert
Recently it was announced that Kartik and Kiara will be attending a musical concert to promote the film. The event, which will take place at a mall, will also have singers from the film. Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures, Satyaprem Ki Katha will release on 29 June. The advance booking for the film has already started.
