After a hiatus owing to the shutdown, superstar Shah Rukh Khan is back on the set of Pathan, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The movie began filming last year, but was put on hold in March due to a variety of factors. Now that the makers have started the shoot in Mumbai, they will finish the major parts here and then move abroad for the action-packed sequences.
According to the latest reports, Aditya Chopra and his team are now planning an Eid 2022 release for this action-packed thriller, Pathan.
Apart from this, the actor is also working on a number of projects, including a Rajkumar Hirani film that has yet to be announced. Atlee’s film won’t start shooting till Shah Rukh finishes director Rajkumar Hirani’s social drama.

SRK has Atlee’s project planned for 2023, but it all relies on the Covid scenario. While Pathan will be his return movie in the first part of next year, the Atlee or Raju Hirani film is expected to be released around Diwali or Christmas. This films will take time to complete since the shoot is extensive. The project will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Karan Johar.
A source close to the development also reveals that Rajkumar Hirani’s film is eyeing for the 2023 release. SRK’s this collaboration will be a production by Red Chillies Entertainment and Hirani. After finishing all these three major projects, Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will move forward with Raj & DK and next.
