EXCLUSIVE: Tania Maniktala Paired Opposite John Abraham in Force 3; Replaces Meenakshi Chaudhary

The Force franchise is gearing up for its next chapter, and Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned a major casting update that adds a fresh dynamic to the action series. After strong speculation around the female lead of Force 3, the makers have now finalised Tania Maniktala to star opposite John Abraham in the upcoming instalment of the popular action franchise.

The Force series, known for its high octane action and patriotic undertones, began in 2011 with John Abraham playing the role of tough cop ACP Yashvardhan. The sequel Force 2, released in 2016, further expanded the franchise’s scale and action appeal, establishing it as one of Bollywood’s recognised cop action properties. Force 3, to be directed by Bhav Dhulia, is currently in development, and expected to go on floors soon.

Tania Maniktala Comes On Board As The Female Lead

According to exclusive information accessed by Box Office Worldwide, Tania Maniktala has been locked as the female protagonist in Force 3. The actress, who gained significant recognition through her work in critically acclaimed digital and theatrical projects like Kill opposite Lakshay and Mira Nair’s A Suitable Boy, is expected to bring a fresh and layered presence to the franchise. This casting signals the makers’ intention to blend strong performance driven talent with commercial action storytelling.

Earlier there were reports of Meenakshi Chaudhary getting casted the film. The actress recently gained attention with her performance in Lucky Bhaskar, which further fuelled speculation about her association with the John Abraham starrer. However, Box Office Worldwide can confirm that the role has now gone to Tania Maniktala, marking a notable shift in casting direction.

Harshvardhan Rane Plays A Key Role In The Film

Force 3 will also feature Harshvardhan Rane in a pivotal role, marking a significant career move for the actor following the success of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. The film strengthened Rane’s box office standing and opened doors to larger scale commercial projects, including his entry into the popular action franchise led by John Abraham.

Confirming his association with the film, Harshvardhan Rane shared an Instagram story expressing gratitude towards John Abraham. He wrote, “John Abraham locks Harshvardhan Rane for taking ‘Force’ franchise forward, under him.” He further added, “All I can do at this moment is thank this angel of a man called John Sir… can’t wait to begin shoot in March 2026. (No other details till I begin the shoot.)”
