Exclusive: Tiger’s Ganapath To Shift From Its Christmas Release To Avoid Crowded Year End Weekends Of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,Cirkus, Avatar 2 & Merry Christmas?

Tiger Shroff was recently seen in Heropanti 2. The actor who is known for his action and groove on the dance floor will soon be seen in Ganapath. The action-drama features Kriti Sanon as the female lead. The movie was all set to hit the theaters near Christmas this year. It was all set to clash with Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus which is releasing on December 23. Also Hollywood’s magnum opus Avatar 2 that is releasing on December 16 and post one week Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kiai Ki Jaan is slated to hit sceeens. Katrina Kaif & Vijay Sethupati starrer Merry Christmas will also release on 23rd December.

Looks like the makers are having second thoughts on releasing the Tiger Shroff starrer Ganapath near Christmas this year. They are planning to avoid the clash with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Cirkus and Avatar 2. As of now all these movies are releasing in a gap of 15 days which says that it looks impossible to see Tiger’s film Ganpat on the day promised.

As reported by sources, The VFX work is pending in Tiger’s film Ganpat and there is little hope that the work on the film will be completed on time. Sources added that the real reason is that after the debacle of Heropanti 2, Vashu Bhagnani and his son Jackky Bhagnani apparently don’t wish to take any chances with his next big release. Avatar: The Way of Water releases a week before on 16th December, plus Cirkus is slated for release on the same day as Ganapath, 23rd December. The producers did not want their films to be sandwiched between the other films.

On the work front, Tiger Shroff also has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The Heropanti star will be sharing screen space with superstar Akshay Kumar. Incidentally, both these films are being bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani and son Jackky Bhagnani’s long-standing production house, Pooja Entertainment.
