Pushpa 2 actor Fahadh Faasil expressed admiration for Ranbir Kapoor’s acting prowess in a recent interview. Fahadh hailed Ranbir as the best actor in the country, showcasing his admiration for the Bollywood star.
In the interview with Film Companion, Fahadh discussed the impact of his own films and his identity as an actor. He emphasised his commitment to authenticity, stating, “I don’t have to hide anything, I have to be honest.”

Fahadh humbly downplayed his own talent, praising other actors like Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao, and particularly lauding Ranbir Kapoor as the pinnacle of acting excellence.
He stated, “I focus on my work without disrespecting others. People don’t expect miracles from me in ‘Pushpa’; it’s a genuine collaboration born out of admiration for Sukumar’s work. I’m rooted in my craft, and while I’m flattered by the praise, I admire talents like Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao immensely. Ranbir Kapoor, undoubtedly, stands out as the finest actor in the country. I don’t know what they see in me”
Fahadh Faasil Doens’t Like Being Called A ‘Pan-India’ Star
Addressing the notion of being labelled a pan-India star, Fahadh deflected the title, asserting, “No, I am just an actor.” He expressed a singular focus on his craft, stating, “I just do my stuff.” Fahadh underscored his belief in the intrinsic value of the films he chooses to do, prioritising artistic fulfilment over commercial success.
