Bollywood enthusiasts have a reason to rejoice as Akshay Kumar announced the re-release of the 2007 romantic comedy-drama Namastey London, directed and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The film is set to return to theaters on March 14, coinciding with the festival of Holi.
Originally released in 2007, Namastey Londonnarrates the story of Arjun Singh (played by Akshay Kumar), a Punjabi man who embarks on a journey to win the heart of his British-born wife, Jasmeet “Jazz” Malhotra (portrayed by Katrina Kaif), who is initially reluctant to embrace her Indian roots. The film beautifully captures the cultural nuances and the essence of love transcending boundaries.

However, fans in Mumbai have observed that PVR Cinemas and PVR INOX properties are not currently listing any showtimes for Namastey London. A review of the official PVR Cinemas website and popular ticketing platforms like BookMyShow reveals no scheduled screenings of the film in these theaters.
Theaters curate their screenings based on anticipated audience interest, current releases, and strategic programming decisions. PVR properties might have prioritized other films during the Holi period, leading to the exclusion of Namastey London. But this doesn’t justify absence of film in entire chains of PVR – Inox.
