Aamir Khan is set to make a grand return to the big screen with Sitaare Zameen Par, marking his first film in three years.
Directed by RS Prasanna, the movie is reportedly scheduled for a June 2025 release. An official announcement is expected today on the occasion of Aamir’s 60th birthday.

A close source quoted by Pinkvilla revealed that Aamir has dedicated the past year to the film and is confident that audiences will love it. The editing process is nearly complete and the team is gearing up for a grand release.
Sitaare Zameen Par follows Aamir in the role of a troubled coach who trains a group of specially-abled kids for the Paralympics. Genelia Deshmukh also plays a key role in the film. The story combines humour, drama, and strong emotional moments – elements that have defined many of Aamir’s past hits.
The film’s marketing campaign is set to kick off during the IPL season, with the official release date likely to be announced on Aamir’s birthday.
Makers Are Woking On Teaser, Trailer And Much More
As per the report, the team is also working on the teaser and trailer to ensure that they create the right impact before the release. Aamir wants the promotional material to highlight the film’s mix of comedy, emotions, and inspiration.
After Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir is considering multiple new projects and is expected to finalise his next film by mid-2025. Meanwhile, he has been making headlines for his pre-birthday celebrations with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, sparking excitement among fans.
