The first franchise of Don starred Amitabh Bachchan. The story revolved around Vijay and his lookalike criminal known by the name Don. The latter was a remake of this classic film which was released in 1978 with the same. Don and Don 2 was headlined by Shah Rukh Khan alongside Priyanka Chopra.
Today Don release completes it’s 14 years. On this special occasion, Farhan Akhtar took to his social media and shared an artwork poster featuring Shah Rukh Khan. He captioned the picture, “Celebrating the day with a Shah Rukh Khan artwork, director Farhan Akhtar wrote, “Don ko yaad rakhna zaroori nahin kyon ki Don ko bhool jaana namumkin hai. #14YearsOfDon.”

Although there were a lot of speculations about Don 3 earlier, no official statement has been made by Farhan Akhtar. But fans are eager for the makers to announce the same.
Only time will tell if this franchise will be taken ahead with Don 3 or not.
