While the vaccination drives are at their peak in the country people are lining up to get their doses. The government too are making sure to ease the process by introducing safe ways.
Recently, actor Farhan Akhtar got his first shot of the vaccine from a drive-through centre.
However, as usual, trolls made this an issue and jumped on the comment section with their moral policing.
Farhan on his social media handle announced his first shot of vaccination and the whole process of drive-through vaccination.
“Got my first jab today via drive through at Andheri sports complex. Thank you to @mybmc & @MumbaiPolice for the streamlined system. To those waiting their turn, the process does take 2-3 hours (for now) so please be patient. Carry water & a snack, if need be. Stay safe,” Farhan Akhtar wrote this in his tweet announcing getting vaccinated.
But it seems some netizens were upset with the fact that he got through so easily. One troll called Akhtar a VIP brat and said he got an out of turn chance to get vaccinated.
According to the troll, the drive is for 60+ citizens. While the actor not only schooled the troll but also cleared that the process is for 45+.
Farhan Akhtar wrote, “The drive in is for 45 + .. now do something constructive for society with your time like losing your phone.”
Meanwhile, he has pledged to donate 1000 food thalis daily in the city of Uttar Pradesh to families of people affected by the pandemic.
