The eagerly awaited trailer launched today, offering fans a sneak peek at Sood in an intense agent role. The 2:59-minute trailer reveals a thrilling story where a troubled past collides with present-day dangers.
Sood’s character is a no-nonsense agent who follows orders without question. The plot thickens as the disappearance of a young girl triggers a race against time to take down a cyber mafia threatening the nation.
Packed with adrenaline-fuelled action, the trailer showcases Sood engaging in fierce battles with weapons, hammers, and hand-to-hand combat. The scenes alternate between dramatic indoor confrontations and large-scale outdoor showdowns.
Jacqueline Fernandez appears as Sood’s love interest, bringing an emotional touch to the narrative. Meanwhile, brief glimpses of Naseeruddin Shah add intrigue about his role in the film. At the end of the trailer, Sood is seen dragging a man’s body.

Sonu Sood Says Making The Film Was A ‘Magical Experience’
Reflecting on his directorial debut, Sood shared, “As an actor, whatever you learnt all these years, and you tried to work on but something you couldn’t do, that could be done with direction.”
Describing the filmmaking process as a “magical” experience, he added, “Being an engineer, a technical guy, the sound designing, editing and lighting worked for me. It took me more than two years to decide the look and sound, and I feel what I couldn’t do all these years, I have poured it into this film.”
Fateh tells the story of an ordinary man rising to face extraordinary challenges. The movie addresses the dangers of cybercrime while offering an intense cinematic experience. Explaining the film’s theme, Sood said, “It’s about a common man who faces and fights serious issues like cybercrime.”
Slated for release in theatres on 10 January 2025, Fateh is already generating buzz. Sood was recently spotted promoting the movie at the iconic Howrah Bridge in Kolkata.
