The Bollywood remake of ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hai’ starring Basil Joseph and Darshan Rajendran is now in pipeline. According to reports, ‘Dangal’ heroine Fatima Sana will play the role of Jaya, who was played by Sheikh Darshan in the film. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who liked the movie, acquired the Hindi remake of the film. Aamir Khan will produce the film in Hindi. Vipin Das himself will dress up the film in Hindi as well.
‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jay Hai’, which performed well at the box office, hit the theaters on October 28 last year. A girl born in a middle-class family in Kerala goes through various situations in her life in the film.
The screenplay of the film has been written by Vipin Das and Nasheed Mohammad Fami. Cinematography by Bablu Aju. The film is produced by Lakshmi Warrier and Ganesh Menon under the banner of Cheers Entertainments and Amal Paulson under the banner of Super Duper Films. John Kutty handles the editing department. Lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar, Shabarish Verma and Jamaima are composed by Ankit Menon. The fight scenes are directed by Felix Fukuyoshi Ruay.
Official confirmation of same is awaited. Recently similar cult film ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ was remade starring Sanya Malhotra.
