The prevue of Shah Rukh Khan‘s much-awaited action thriller film Jawan is out now and it has set the internet buzzing. After the massive success of Pathaan, Shah Rukh is back in an action avatar in this mass entertainer. As per the clips from the prevue, he is playing a double role in the film. One of them is the villain, and the other one is an IPS officer. This is particularly important as Shah Rukh was never seen in a police officer uniform until now.

In his long and successful career, Shah Rukh has played a variety of roles like a NASA scientist, a journalist, and a solider initially in his television stint. But this is the first time, he is actually playing an IPS officer who is seen in his uniform and fans are really excited about it.

Jawan is directed by popular Tamil director Atlee Kumar (in his Bollywood debut) and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Its stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance). Jawan will release in the theatres on 7 September in Hindi and dubbed Tamil and Telugu languages.
