When Shivaay, starring Ajay Devgn, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, directed by Karan, collided at the box office, their relationship took a turn for the worse. And now that their reunion is anticipated for Ibrahim Ali Khan’s debut production, it appears that the wait will soon be over.
According to a report by PeeingMoon, Kajol and KJo are ready to team together for Ibrahim Ali Khan’s debut film. It’s interesting that the pair will reunite after 12 years. For the uninitiated, their most recent collaboration was on Shah Rukh Khan’s 2010 film My Name Is Khan. Regarding the portal’s report, Kajol has agreed to star in Karan’s upcoming project, which will be led by Kayoze Irani. She reportedly joined the cast to co-star in a starring role with Ibrahim Ali Khan, who is making his acting debut.
According to a report from industry’s source, “Kajol will play an emotionally strong character and will share the maximum screen time with Ibrahim Ali Khan. She has worked with Ibrahim’s father, Saif Ali Khan, in films like Dillagi, Hameshaa, and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, and is thrilled to act with his son now in his very first film. Ibrahim has also started his prep and is readying himself to share screen space with seasoned actors like Kajol.”
But neither the actress nor the director have made any official statements about it. The report also stated that casting for the other crucial roles in the next production is now taking place in Mumbai.
