Filmmaker Nikkhil Advani recently unveiled the first glimpse of his upcoming web series, Freedom At Midnight. This series promises to delve into the poignant saga of India’s struggle for independence.

In a captivating first look, Advani showcased Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Sardar Ballavbhai Patel. The trio appears in a single frame in the glimpse of their characters shared.

First Look Of Freedom At Midnight Cast Out

Sharing the portrayals of actors Sidhant Gupta, Chirag Vohra, and Rajendra Chawla as Nehru, Gandhi, and Patel respectively, Advani expressed his reverence for the pivotal roles these leaders played.

Nikkhil shared the first glimpse on Instagram and wrote, “Jawahar and Sardar will be like two oxen yoked to the government cart. One will need the other and both will pull together. – 𝙈𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙢𝙖 𝙂𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙝𝙞 First Look of #FreedomAtMidnight. Honoured and proud to be able to tell the story of India’s Independence.”

The series is set to offer an in-depth exploration of India’s journey to freedom, unveiling untold stories and pivotal moments from the tumultuous era of partition.

Advani feels authenticity is important in capturing the essence of modern India while staying true to the spirit of the independence movement. Collaborating with Sony LIV, known for its dedication to showcasing India’s rich heritage, Advani aims to reach audiences worldwide with this compelling narrative.
