Highest-grossing Punjabi film ‘Qismat’ was a 2018 hit. The film was starring Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu. However, the director had some other preferences before casting Ammy Virk.
In a recent social media interactive, the director was asked which Bollywood actor was suggested for ‘Qismat’. Replying to it Jagdeep took not one but six names, which were Ayushmann Khuranna, Vicky Kaushal, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan and Sushant Singh Rajput.
However, seems like the movie was destined to be made in Punjabi and star Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta in the lead.
Meanwhile, Qismat 2 will be releasing on 28th September 2020.
