The Fukrey franchise, which started in 2013, has been a hit among the audience for its quirky comedy and memorable characters. The third installment, Fukrey 3, released on September 28, 2023, and has received positive reviews and box office collections. The film stars Richa Chadha as Bholi Punjaban, Varun Sharma as Choocha, Pulkit Samrat as Hunny, Manjot Singh as Lali and Pankaj Tripathi as Panditji.
Fukrey 4 is in works
Now a latest media report has confirmed that Fukrey 4 is in works.

“And why not? It is Excel’s most successful feature film to date. The first Fukrey film’s budget was approximately 20 crores, including the actors’ fees. It made profits of 60-70 crores. The second and third parts cost more to produce. But still made tidy profits,” says the source to Times Now.
The fourth Fukrey film is expected to be budgeted substantially more than the first three segments.
“The actors were paid peanuts for Fukrey 1 and 2. They were paid a little extra for Part 3. They are demanding a lot more for Part 4. And rightfully so, as the producers have made huge profits. The actors deserve more,” says the source.
Also, after the success of Fukrey 3 and OMG 2, Pankaj Tripathi has hiked his price to double what he was getting earlier.
When actors confirmed Fukrey 4
In a recent interview, the actors also had opened up about their experience of working on the film and also hinted at the possibility of Fukrey 4. Richa Chadha said that she was happy with the response to the film and that she loved working with the Fukrey team. She also said that if the film continued to get love from the audience, they would surely make Fukrey 4.
Varun Sharma, who plays the hilarious Choocha, also expressed his excitement about the film and said that it was very special for him as it was his debut film. He said that he was friends with the other actors in real life and that they had a lot of fun on the sets. He also said that he hoped that there would not be a long gap between Fukrey 3 and 4.
Pulkit Samrat, who plays Hunny, the leader of the fukra gang, also shared his views on the film and said that he enjoyed playing his character. He said that he liked the fact that the film had a variety of genres, such as comedy, drama, romance and thriller. He also said that he was looking forward to Fukrey 4 and that he hoped that they would surprise the audience with something new.

The director of the film, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, has not confirmed anything about Fukrey 4 yet, but he has said that he was happy with the way Fukrey 3 turned out and that he was grateful to the audience for their support. He also said that he had a lot of ideas for the future of the franchise and that he would love to work with the same cast and crew again.
Fukrey 3 is currently running in theatres across India and has crossed Rs 95 crore mark at the box office. The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner Excel Entertainment.
