Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, who is currently working on Fukrey 3, will direct a biographical film on famed comedian Kapil Sharma. The film’s title will be Funkaar. The film will be produced by Lyca Productions and will be based on the life of comedy king, according to producer Mahaveer Jain. There’s no need to introduce Kapil Sharma. For a long time, he has been earning the hearts of the audience. His show, The Kapil Sharma Show, is extremely successful, and it returned with a new season last year.

Lyca Productions and Producer Mahaveer Jain have also worked with Akshay Kumar for Ram Setu, Sanjay Leela Bansali for a special film Mann Bairagi, Anand L Rai for Jahnvi Kapoor’s Good Luck Jerry, a biopic on Vishwanathan Anand, and many others.
Lyca also produced Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar in one of India’s most expensive films, 2.0.
