As actor Thalapathy Vijay marked his 50th birthday on Saturday(June 22), fans were treated to a special gift from the makers of his upcoming film, Greatest of All Time (GOAT).
The much-awaited teaser dedicated to the star showcases Vijay in his element, navigating through foreign cityscapes with adrenaline-pumping stunt sequences.
GOAT Makers Drop Special Teaser On Thalapthy Vijay’s 59th Birthday
The teaser opens with the intriguing line, “It’s time to see the unseen,” setting the stage for a thrilling bike chase through bustling streets. Amidst intense gunfire, glimpses of Vijay on a motorcycle, skillfully evading bullets, captivate viewers.
The teaser also reveals him riding pillion and expertly returning fire to his pursuers. In Greatest of All Time (GOAT), Vijay will portray dual roles, promising a double dose of his charismatic presence.
The teaser concludes with a heartfelt birthday message from the makers, proclaiming, “Happy Birthday The GOAT,” a term denoting Vijay’s revered status among fans.
The response from Thalapathy Vijay’s admirers has been overwhelmingly positive. One enthusiastic fan commented, “Venkat Prabhu brewing something (fire emojis). Aside from the teaser, the film’s promotional efforts included the release of a promo for the second single, “Chinna Chinna Kangal”. This track pays tribute to the late singer Bhavatharini, featuring her AI-generated voice. The full song, released today (June 22), commemorates Vijay’s milestone birthday.
