Kartik Aaryan Starrer Holds Well On 2nd Friday
Chandu Champion managed to hold well on 2nd Friday despite new releases and collected 3.32 crore nett. Film will jump over weekend and should cross 13-15 crore nett.
Film has total of 43.45 crore nett in 8 days and will cross 60 crore nett after 2nd week. Film will remain below average at box office as poor opening damaged the chances of the film.

Chandu Champion opened to glowing reviews as critics praised honesty of Kartik’s performance and Kabir Khan’s crafty direction. But multiplex flavour of the film meant poor business in mass centres. Film is very metro centric and that reflected in sluggish collection. Also ₹ 150 pricing kept the numbers low as it didn’t push walk ins in any significant way.
Film collected close to 3.10 crore gross in national chains on day one which means a strictly average 5.40 crore nett all India number. Film jumped by 42% on day two and collected 7.70 crore nett. Film again jumped by 41% and collected 11.01 crore nett.
Film has strictly average weekend total 24.11 crore nett considering budget and cast.
Monday was again Bakri Eid holiday and that is why film held well and collected 6.01 crore nett. Film added 3.60 crore nett on day 5, 3.40 crore nett on day 6 and 3.01 crore nett on day 7.
Film has total of 40.13 crore nett in 1st week.
