Chandu Champion Special Screening To Be Held In Delhi
A special screening of Chandu Champion is set to take place in Delhi, organised by producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Kabir Khan, exclusively for esteemed Army officials, including the Army Chief of India and high-ranking brigadiers. This unique event not only celebrates the film’s imminent release but also serves as a platform to honour India’s trailblazing athlete, Murlikant Petkar.
India’s first Olympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar, will be felicitated at the screening, marking a proud moment for the entire team behind Chandu Champion. The presence of distinguished Army dignitaries adds a special significance to the occasion as the film receives recognition from those who serve the nation.
About Chandu Champion
Sajid Nadiadwala is spearheading the production of Chandu Champion, featuring Kartik in the lead role. While Shraddha Kapoor is rumoured to play the female lead, details remain tightly under wraps. The film chronicles the remarkable life of Murlikant Petkar, whose triumphs at the 1970 Commonwealth Games and the 1972 Paralympics in Germany brought glory to India. Directed by Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion is slated for a cinematic release on June 14, 2024.
Kartik Aaryan’s Work Front
Apart from Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan is set to enthral audiences in Anees Bazmee’s horror comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, hitting theatres this Diwali.
The film boasts a stellar cast including Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit in pivotal roles alongside Kartik. Additionally, Kartik Aaryan is in talks with acclaimed filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj for a new project titled Arjun Ustara, slated to be shot extensively in Greece.
