As the Golden Globes 2023 is set to take place on January 11 in Los Angeles, SS Rajamouli’s RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR won two nominations. While the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the film has been nominated for Best Original Song, RRR has been nominated for Best Foreign Film.
Filmmaker SS Rajamouli, actor Jr NTR and Ram Charan will attend the award ceremony in the US. The film has been submitted in 14 categories at Oscars 2023. Golden Globes 2023, which will take place at The Beverly Hilton on January 11 from 6.30 am to 8.30 am, is considered as a precursor to the Oscars.
Meanwhile, On January 9, RRR will be screened in the US as part of the Beyond Fest.

Actor Ram Charan took to Twitter following the nominations last month and wrote, “What a proud moment @ssrajamouli garu! Can’t wait to see you conquer world cinema Honoured that #RRRMovie bagged the Best Non-English Language Film and the Best Original Song nominations at the @goldenglobes awards! Actor Jr. NTR had also expressed his excitement and tweeted, “Delighted that #RRRMovie has been nominated in two categories at the Golden Globe Awards! Congratulations to all of us… Looking forward.”

As per reports, RRR has collected over Rs 1200 crore worldwide and is still running in selected theaters across the globe. The film, starring Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, made a lifetime collection of Rs. 274.31 crores in Hindi.
