Haiwaan Song Rangiyara Introduces Saif Ali Khan As Akshay Kumar Thriller Adds A Vibrant New Twist

Just when Haiwaan looked firmly locked into grim thriller territory, Rangiyara arrives to change the mood. The newly released track gives the film a burst of colour, rhythm and scale, while placing Saif Ali Khan at the centre of a sweeping character reveal in Priyadarshan’s much-awaited film co-starring Akshay Kumar.

Released by Zee Music Company, Rangiyara marks the first extended musical spotlight on Saif’s character and opens up a more expansive side of Haiwaan’s world. Instead of leaning on menace, the song uses movement, melody and striking visuals to make its impression ahead of the film’s worldwide theatrical release on September 11, 2026.

Rangiyara Brings Saif Ali Khan Into Focus

Set across open waters, the song follows Saif Ali Khan’s character as he journeys home by boat, turning the passage into a visually rich introduction. The imagery gives Haiwaan a new texture, trading shadowy tension for sunlit frames, flowing landscapes and a more restless pulse. Saif holds the screen with ease, and the track lets the audience sit with his character a little longer before the thriller closes in again.

The song is composed by Pritam, with lyrics by Yatindra Mishra and Thomson Andrews. Vocals by Shaan, Sukhwinder Singh and Romy give Rangiyara an infectious lift, making it feel less like a routine insert and more like a carefully placed entry point into one of the film’s key characters.

Akshay Kumar Remains Central To Haiwaan’s Darker World

If Rangiyara broadens the film’s visual language, it also sharpens curiosity about what comes next. The song may belong to Saif Ali Khan’s character arc, but Haiwaan still appears to be anchored in the high-stakes dramatic space teased around Akshay Kumar in the film’s earlier promotional material.

That contrast is what gives the rollout its edge. Saif’s entry comes wrapped in rhythm and scenic sweep, while Akshay’s presence continues to carry the weight of the film’s more intense narrative thread. Directed by Priyadarshan, Haiwaan also features Boman Irani, Saiyami Kher, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Sharib Hashmi in pivotal roles.

Film Details And Release Timeline

Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn under the banners of KVN Productions and Thespian Films, Haiwaan is headed to cinemas worldwide on September 11, 2026. With music released on Zee Music Company, the film’s soundtrack has already begun sketching out two distinct emotional notes, from the warmth of Mere Hero Hai Woh to the kinetic flourish of Rangiyara.

For now, Rangiyara works as a smart mid-campaign switch-up. It widens the film’s appeal, gives Saif Ali Khan a memorable showcase, and keeps Haiwaan moving with a little more mystery before its theatrical arrival.
