Hanuman Ansh makers issue firm statement amid rights dispute as mythological film image grabs attention

The makers of Hanuman Ansh have stepped in publicly to draw a clear line over who controls the film’s rights, publicity and business communication, turning an internal disagreement into one of the most closely watched off-screen developments around the devotional hit.

Director Dr Vishal Chaturvedi and producer Namrata G Singh issued a formal clarification after confusion grew around representation linked to the film. The statement arrives at a crucial stage for Hanuman Ansh, which released in theatres on August 7, 2026 and has since built strong commercial momentum, making questions of authority and decision-making especially significant.

What The Official Statement Says

In the official statement released through Swambhu Media Network, the makers said, “Hanuman Ansh has one authorised channel.” The note further clarified that all rights related to the film, including theatrical, streaming, broadcast, music, gaming and licensing, are jointly held and must be handled according to agreements signed between the producers.

The same statement said, “Namrata G Singh and Dr Vishal Chaturvedi are solely authorised to direct public relations, marketing, awards and partnerships on behalf of the Company. All day-to-day coordination with partners, platforms and media is carried out through them.”

It also made clear that cast and crew members must seek confirmation through the film’s official communication channels before representing Hanuman Ansh in interviews, podcasts, promotional events or other public platforms. The statement additionally named the film’s four producers as Namrata G Singh, Dr Vishal Chaturvedi, Ragini Sona and Anupriya Nagar.

Why The Clarification Matters

The statement leaves little room for ambiguity. It says decisions concerning publicity, awards, partnerships and rights in India and overseas require the approval of all four producers in line with the production agreement, while also making it clear that no individual producer can independently enter into business arrangements for the film.

That makes this more than a routine clarification. Hanuman Ansh is now in the phase where its value extends across streaming, broadcast, music, licensing and brand-facing opportunities, and the team’s intervention appears aimed at protecting that larger commercial ecosystem from conflicting claims or unauthorised representation.
