Kajol is one of the most talented and celebrated actresses in Bollywood. She started out her career in the 1990s and then acted in some of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful films of all time. Her on-screen pairing with Shah Rukh Khan has particularly been super successful. They have worked in many films like Baazigar, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, My Name Is Khan, and Dilwale.
While promoting her web series The Trial, Kajol talked about how happy she is with the new phase of Shah Rukh Khan as he has tasted success with Pathaan. She said, “I am so so happy for him, I messaged him also, and I told him also and I said: I’m so happy to hear this. Yeah, big hug and very very happy for him and yes I think it’s a new phase, new time for him and super super happy for him. I think he is a king and will always remain so.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s New Phase
Shah Rukh’s last outings like Zero and Jab Harry Met Sejal failed to create an impact on anyone. After nearly a five-year absence, he returned this year with Pathaan. The film became a super success and earned over 1,000 crores at the box office. He is now gearing up for another action thriller where he is once again in an action avatar. The film is Jawan, directed by Atlee Kumar. It will release on 7 September.
Kajol’s Upcoming Projects
Kajol was recently seen in the Disney + Hotstar web series The Trial in which she plays a lawyer. Directed by Suparn Varma, the series also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Kubbra Sait, Sheeba Chaddha, Alyy Khan, and Gaurav Pandey. She will be next seen in a film titled Sarzameen and in Do Patti. The latter is the maiden production venture of Kriti Sanon.
