Yeh Prem Mol Liya marks his reunion with Sooraj Barjatya and is set for a November 27, 2026 theatrical release, with Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari leading the cast. Gunmaster G9, starring Emraan Hashmi, Genelia Deshmukh and Aparshakti Khurana, is also dated for November 27, 2026.
Busy does not automatically mean safe. Maatrubhumi comes attached to the pressure that follows every big Salman Khan release right now. Yeh Prem Mol Liya has a trusted family-romance banner and a soft musical appeal, but it is also entering a market where even established emotional dramas are no longer guaranteed winners. Gunmaster G9 is banking on retro spy energy and franchise-style familiarity, a space that can click if the packaging lands, but can just as easily feel dated if it does not.
Why This Phase Could Define His Next Chapter
What makes this stretch crucial is that all three films are trying to tap different audiences. One is mounted as a patriotic big-screen drama, one leans into classic romance and family emotion, and one goes for stylised action nostalgia. That variety gives Himesh multiple shots at a turnaround, but it also means there is no single guaranteed bet in the mix.
