24Six Films, in partnership with Drishya Sharma Productions, has just revealed the first look of their eagerly awaited film Hindi-Vindi. This Indo-Australian co-production, backed by Screen Australia’s Development Funding, is a major collaboration between the Indian and Australian film industries.
Neena Gupta & Mihir Ahuja In Hindi Vindi
Directed by Ali Sayed and written by Jay Sharma, Hindi-Vindi stars Neena Gupta and Mihir Ahuja, and features Australian music icon Guy Sebastian in his acting debut. The film is produced by Aniket Deshkar, Anil Sharma, and Sunny Shah, with production teams in Sydney and Mumbai.
The newly released first-look poster showcases Gupta, Ahuja, and Sebastian in a dramatic and visually compelling frame. The poster hints at a gripping plot full of drama, music, and emotion.
Director Ali Sayed shared his enthusiasm for the film, stating, “We are incredibly excited to share the first look of Hindi-Vindi with the world. This film is a labour of love, and we can’t wait for audiences to embark on this journey with us. The first look is just a glimpse of what’s in store, and we believe it will leave everyone eagerly anticipating the release.”
More About The Film
The film’s music, created by the award-winning duo Javed-Mohsin and Guy Sebastian, adds an extra layer of appeal. Hindi-Vindi is currently in its final post-production stages, overseen by renowned film editor Steven Bernard.
The movie explores intergenerational language barriers within the migrant community, combining Indo-Western musical elements. Scheduled for a September 2024 release, close to Hindi Diwas, Hindi-Vindi aims to celebrate and connect with audiences both in India and the global Indian community.
