Pathaan released on January 25, 2023, which is full of drama and action directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone in lead roles and will have John Abraham as antagonist. It showcases an undercover police official and drug lord. Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani have worked on its music. It released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu.
It has earned Rs. 489.05 crores nett and has a possibility to beat the Rs. 500 crores mark in 15 days. Undoubtedly, it has become the biggest Hindi original grosser of all time. The film hit 144 IMAX screens worldwide in 21 markets, leading it as the widest Indian release ever on IMAX.

The latest news is that Pathaan also had the number 1 IMAX initial weekend of all time in India, referring to cross films 2022 released films like KGF-Chapter 2, RRR, Avatar: The Way Of Water, 2017 film Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion.
It stands as the seventh highest-grossing IMAX film of all time across India, becoming the second highest-grossing Indian film in IMAX post ‘KGF – Chapter 2’. Since it is the massive YRF (Yash Raj Films) grosser in IMAX, crossing the previous films of the prominent production house which released in this format such as Dhoom 3 (2013), Thugs Of Hindostan (2018) and Shamshera (2022).
‘Pathaan’ is set to cross 500 cr nett India tomorrow and might end up crossing 511 cr nett record of ‘Baahubali 2’.
