The countdown has just taken a fire incendiary turn with the release of Qayamat, the latest explosion blessed by Sajid Nadiadwala‘s Housefull 5 as it prepares for its June 6, 2025 release.
This extravagant multi-star extravaganza just got a slick musical drop, fusing cruising luxury, pop glamour and true intrigue.
Qayamat: Cruise Couture Camouflaging Chaos
In no way is Qayamat your regular party single, since it was captured on a ritzy, high-end cruise liner. The visuals feature the entire lead cast, including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa and Nargis Fakhri, all in full opulent glory while wearing perfectly coordinated all-white outfits radiating summer chic, though showing signs of storms rumbling underneath.
Sung by Neeraj Shridhar and Shruti Dhasmana And featuring lyrics by SOM, Qayamat is colourful and choreographed by Adil Shaikh, building energy, drama, and most importantly, breezy danceability. Presented by T-Series, the visuals maintain a narrative spectacle whilst remaining high on catchiness.
Clues Hidden, Glances Mysterious — Is It A Trailer In A Song?
One of the exciting components of Qayamat is how it trails its narrative amidst all the high-octane glamour.
In watching the suit-and-tie choreography and synchronised performances, there are what appear to be fleeting glances, tactical probing, and mischievous grins — which also suggest things are not entirely rosy onboard the ship.
If Laal Pari was seduction and Dil E Nadaan was reminiscence, then Qayamat is somewhat shabbier, more stylish, and slyly sinister. The fans are already chatting about decoding every track as part of some unknown plot in their pursuit of Housefull 5, the upcoming release jokingly described as “Killer Comedy”.
The Trailer and Launch
Housefull 5 is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala through Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The release is set for 6th June 2025. It is bound to put some summer laughs and twists in the summer box office.
As mentioned, the trailer drops on 27th May, and needless to say, if the music videos are telling, the ride encounters another unexpected detour — it isn’t just another entry to the franchise — this is comedy reloaded.
The film casts a storm of performers, including Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangda Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.
