Rishab Shetty’s Kantara has left Hrithik Roshan, who recently turned heads at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, very impressed. Recently released, the movie received positive reviews from both the public and reviewers. Hrithik has now joined the chorus of Bollywood stars who have been praising the movie after being seen with many of them. He used social media to applaud Rishab and his movie in a commendable message.
After watching the movie on Sunday night, the Greek God of Bollywood posted on Twitter. On an OTT platform, Kantara’s Hindi adaptation has made its debut. Hrithik claimed that viewing the movie taught him a lot and that the storytelling was excellent. The message said, “Learnt so much by watching #Kantara. The power of @shetty_rishab’s conviction makes the film extraordinary. Top notch storytelling, direction & acting. The peak climax transformation gave me goosebumps. Respect & kudos to the team.”
Rishab both directed and performed in the movie. Kishore and Sapthami Gowda are featured as well. The movie is based on a local ritual dance called Bhoota Kola and is set against the backdrop of coastal Karnataka.
Hrithik last appeared alongside Saif Ali Khan in Vikram Vedha. He will soon be seen with Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter. He will work with Deepika for the first time in this project. The movie is scheduled to open in theatres on January 24, 2024. Recently, the three was spotted in Assam filming for the first schedule.
