Hrithik Roshan’s 2 Min 22 Sec Long Scene Shot And Added To Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 Last Minute: Check Out His Dialogues And New Run Time Inside!

The much-awaited action thriller film Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, has undergone a slight change in its run time, due to added scene of Hrithik Roshan as Kabir in the film. Here we bring details of Hrithik Roshan’s cameo scene in the film.

It was earlier reported that only Pathaan will make an appearance in Tiger 3 and they will bring Kabir back in Spy Universe only in War 2. But few days back, the film’s buzz got a boost when it was reported that Hrithik Roshan’s character from War (2019), Kabir, will also be seen in Tiger 3. Now it has come to light that Kabir’s addition to Tiger 3 was planned last minute after makers realised the buzz is not living upto the expectations.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The scene was shot very recently, on Saturday, November 4, at Mumbai’s Yash Raj Studios. Hrithik Roshan seemed excited to be back in the Kabir zone and had a blast shooting the scene.”

The source further added, “Since the censor process was already completed on October 27, the producers, Yash Raj Films, had to once again request CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) to pass the additional scene. The CBFC did so on November 6. The run time of Tiger 3 is now 156 minutes (2 hours 36 minutes), up from the earlier duration of 2 hours and 33 minutes.”

As per the details on the censor certification, the scene of Hrithik Roshan is 2 minutes and 22 minutes long. It features Kabir along with Colonel Luthra (Ashutosh Rana). The dialogue starts with Luthra telling Kabir ‘Jo main tumse maangne ja raha hoon’ and ends with him telling Kabir ‘Shaitan se ladhte ladhte tum khud hi shaitaon ban jaao’.

The makers of the film, Yash Raj Films, have added extra footage of 2.22 minutes to the film, which has increased its run time from 2 hours, 33 minutes, 38 seconds to 2 hours, 36 minutes, 00 seconds. The film was certified ‘UA’ by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on 27 October 2023, with the original run time and the revised run time was certified on 6 November 2023.

According to the CBFC website, the first half of the film is 1 hour, 10 minutes, 33 seconds long, while the second half is 1 hour, 25 minutes, 27 seconds long. The film has six songs and one item number, composed by Pritam and sung by various artists. The film also features cameo appearance by Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan.

Advance Bookings of Salman, Katrina’s Tiger 3

Tiger 3 is the sequel to Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film follows the adventures of Tiger and Zoya, who are framed as traitors by a revenge-seeking terrorist, Aatish, and go on a life-threatening crusade to clear their names. The film is set to release on 12 November 2023, coinciding with Diwali, in standard, IMAX, 4DX and other premium formats.

This is Salman’s franchise and his most popular character. On Saturday, late afternoon film’s advance booking kicked off in national chains and response is on expected lines. Film took smashing start all over. By end of the day, film sold 10,000 plus tickets in national chains on Saturday.

On Sunday, film saw good sales all around as film crossed 60,000 tickets sold in advance booking in national chains. Film was very slow on Tuesday and managed to cross 98,250 tickets in advances after 4 days. 

Following are the numbers in national chains in advances for day 1 as of Tuesday 11 PM: 

PVR + Inox: 80,250

Cinepolis: 19,000

Total: 99,250 tickets

In comparison Pathaan sold 1.17 lac tickets in advance booking after 24 hours of advance and 6 days before release. At same time Jawan sold 1.40 lac tickets in national chains. Tiger 3 as of now less than 45% to Jawan and it needs to pick up the pace in coming days.
