‘I Was Kidding’: Allu Aravind Shuts Down Ghajini 2 Buzz In Reaction To Viral Video Of Conversation With Aamir Khan

Ghajini 2 rumours have been shut down by Allu Aravind. He confirmed that hs recent viral conversation with Aamir was just a joke.

The buzz around a Ghajini sequel started growing after a viral video surfaced last week. The video showed producer Allu Aravind joking with Aamir Khan about working on a big-budget film, possibly Ghajini 2. Fans and media outlets went crazy, thinking this was a sign of the sequel being confirmed.

However, Allu Aravind has now put an end to all the speculations with his latest statement.

Ghajini 2 Not Happening Anytime Soon

The filmmaker spoke to journalist Subhash K Jha and explained it was just a joke. “No Sir, I was kidding with him (Aamir),” Aravind said, putting an end to the Ghajini 2 talk.

At an event in Mumbai to promote Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Thandel, Aravind’s comments set social media on fire. Fans have been hoping for a sequel since the original Ghajini became a massive hit in 2008. But as Aravind clarified, those hopes remain just that – hopes.

Previously, there were also reports suggesting that both Aamir Khan and Suriya (who played the lead in the Tamil version) were in talks with Aravind and Mantena for a sequel. But once again, Allu Aravind denied these claims and said, “No Sir, we have no such plans.”

About The 2008 Film

Ghajini is a milestone in Indian cinema. It was a game-changer for Aamir Khan and became one of the top-grossing films of 2008, earning over Rs 100 crore. Produced by Madhu Mantena and Allu Aravind, it was Filmistan’s first film to reach that achievement. Its blend of action, emotion, and the chemistry between Aamir Khan and Asin made it memorable.

Known for its powerful action and emotional depth, Ghajini tells the story of love, loss, and revenge. Aamir Khan plays a businessman with short-term memory loss and seeks vengeance for his lover’s death. Despite the intense violence, the emotional story (especially Aamir’s vulnerable performance) deeply connected with audiences.
