‘I Wish It Were True. Haven’t Heard A Thing About It’: Saif Ali Khan Refutes Rumours Of Him And Shah Rukh Joining Hands For An Investigation Drama

The film is said to be an investigative drama and will star Saif Ali Khan in the role of a cop.

Isn’t it exciting enough for fans to finally see ‘Pathaan’ Shah Rukh Khan & ‘Nawab’ Saif Ali Khan together after almost 2 decades? Well, a report even confirmed the news of this iconic pair to coming together for an investigative drama titled Kartavya.

It stated, “The film is said to be an investigative drama and will star Saif Ali Khan in the role of a cop. It is a suspenseful thriller about a gruesome murder case and has tentatively been titled Kartavya. Pulkit, known for Bose: Dead or Alive, has been brought on board to direct this film, which also stars Sanjay Mishra and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan, known for her cop role in the Netflix crime drama Soni. The filmmaker has already started pre-production and will begin shooting in the first week of February.”

But, unfortunately the news was refuted by the actor Saif Ali Khan himself. Talking to ETimes, the Sacred Games star Saif Ali Khan, said, “I wish it were true. Haven’t heard a thing about it.”

Saif was in Europe with his family for a holiday. Talking about the holiday, he says, “It was lovely! Clean air and skiing. Best food too.” The actor has now came back from the holiday.

For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan role as Aman Mathur and Rohit Patel in Nikhil Advani’s romantic drama film Kal Ho Naa Ho was loved by many. They wanted to work together for a long time.

Meanwhile, Shahrukh will soon mark his comeback with Pathaan which is set to release on January 25. Saif is also busy reviving his production company, Black Knight Films, with a survival drama directed by Vinod Kapri.
