However, her statements ignited a storm on social media, with users accusing her of self-obsession and criticising her comparison to Amitabh Bachchan, especially considering her recent string of film flops.
Her Reaction To Trolls After The Speech
In response, Kangana defended her remarks, emphasising her contributions to Indian cinema and her advocacy for women’s empowerment.
She challenged her detractors to name another individual in the Hindi film industry who commands as much respect and adulation as she claims to receive, suggesting that she would amend her statement if provided with a convincing answer.
Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Chandramukhi 2 and Tejas. Both of them badly flopped at the box office. She will now appear in Emergency where she plays Indira Gandhi.
