But the celebrations are far from over. The closing ceremony on Thursday, November 28, promises to be just as thrilling, with big names from Indian cinema attending.
Allu Arjun To Receive Special Recognition Award At 55th IFFI
Sources reveal that Allu Arjun, one of India’s biggest stars, will be there, joined by his Pushpa 2 co-star Rashmika Mandanna. Their appearance comes just ahead of their much-awaited film’s release on December 5, adding even more buzz to the event.
Allu Arjun will also receive a Special Recognition award for his significant contributions to Indian cinema, especially for his role in Pushpa. His rise from a South Indian film star to a pan-India sensation is proof of his talent & the award celebrates his remarkable impact on the film industry.
What’s More At IFFI 2024 Closing Ceremony?
The ceremony will also feature a range of top filmmakers, including Pushpa 2 director Sukumar, Dil Raju, Anand Tiwari, and Amritpal Singh Bindra, along with Australian producer Stephen Wolie. Many popular actors, such as Jaya Prada, Shriya Saran, Vikrant Massey, Pratik Gandhi, Sameer Kochhar, Shreya Chaudhary, Ritwik Bhowmik, and Navin Kohli, will add glamour to the night.
One of the highlights of the ceremony will be live performances by the Bandish Bandits team. With season two of the show set to release in December, Ritwik Bhowmik, Shreya Chaudhary, Mame Khan, Nikhita Gandhi, and Digvijay Rathod will put on an exciting live performance to cap off the festival.
