Salman Khan is gearing up for a massive return to the big screen with Sikandar, slated for release during the Eid 2025 period. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by AR Murugadoss, the film is currently in production, with shooting taking place in Hyderabad.
Alongside Khan, the cast includes Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi. The film has already completed about 50% of its shooting, and the team aims to wrap up by January 2025.
Salman Khan & Rashmika Mandanna Have Shot High-Energy Eid & Holi Dance Numbers For Sikandar
Sources close to the film have revealed exciting updates on what fans can expect. An insider told Pinkvilla that Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna have already shot two high-energy dance numbers for the film, set against the backdrop of Eid and Holi. The songs are set to be major crowd-pullers, with music by Pritam.
The Eid song has a Qawali vibe, while the Holi song is a celebration of love and colours. Both tracks are expected to become instant hits, as everyone on set enjoyed dancing during the shoot.
Salman believes these songs are some of Pritam’s best work. The entire team behind Sikandar is confident that the album will be remembered for years to come.
2 Major Scenes Shot With Two More To Be Filmed
Apart from the catchy dance numbers, Sikandar will also feature some stylish action sequences. Two major action scenes have already been filmed, with two more still to come.
“The action in Sikandar has a new flavour, and the audience is in for a surprise when Sajid Nadiadwala unveils the visuals,” the source added.
In addition to the songs already shot, two more tracks, including a romantic number, are under development. The remaining songs will be filmed in January.
Once the shooting for Sikandar is wrapped up, Salman Khan is expected to dive into his next project with director Atlee, which is currently in the writing phase. We can say that 2025 promises to be an action-packed year for the actor.
