Imran Khan Storms The Internet By Announcing His Comeback, But On One Condition

Imran Khan was the Bollywood heartthrob in the late 2000s and early 2010s. He made his debut in 2008 with the romantic comedy film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and the film went on to become a major success, catapulting him into stardom. Over the next few years, Imran was seen doing all kinds of roles, chocolaty boy, serious as well as dramatic roles. But all that went to a screeching halt when he left Bollywood all of a sudden.

His last film was the 2015 film Katti Batti with Kangana Ranaut. After that, he only returned in 2018 for a short film called Mission Mars: Keep Walking India which he directed and acted in. Since then, millions of his fans have been waiting with bated breath for him to return. But yesterday something strange happened when Imran hinted at his return.

In the comment section of veteran actress Zeenat Aman’s Instagram post, a fan wrote, “Zeenat ji ne bhi comeback karlia, patani mera @imrankhan kab karega.” To everyon’e surprise, Imran actually responded to her comment and wrote: “Chalo Aditi, let’s leave this to the internet… 1M likes, and I’ll make it happen.”

Quickly after that, Imran’s comment was inundated with likes and replies. Several users expressed their wish to see him again in films. His comment has more than one lakh likes and we wish it reaches a million so that Imran can make a return.

Imran Khan’s Career

After Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Imran starred in several films including Kidnap, Luck, I Hate Luv Stories, Delhi Belly, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Ekk Main Aur Ekk Tu, and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. These films had mixed fates; while some worked some didn’t at the box office. His last feature-length film turned out to be Nikkhil Advani’s 2015 flick Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.

In 2020, Imran’s close friend Akshay Oberoi confirmed that he had quit acting. He said, “My best friend in Bollywood is Imran Khan, who is no longer an actor because he has quit acting. See, Imran Khan has left acting at the moment.”
