Helmed by Ashima Chibber, the film is a gripping, true tale of a woman who moves mountains to protect her children against an entire country. Produced by Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment (Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani & Nikkhil Advani), Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway is slated to hit the theatres on 17th March 2023.
The latest bollywood news is that Rani could be as singer in her upcoming film. Its trailer was released earlier today. According to reports, it’s a mix of Hindi and Bengali lyrics.
“Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is a special film for Rani Mukerji as this is the first time she has turned singer. A soulful composition in the film has been sung by her and it will be one of the film’s highlights. The song has a mix of Hindi and Bengali lyrics,” Bollywood Hungama quoted its source as saying.
“Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is very close to Rani Mukerji’s heart as it tells an incredible and inspiring story. Hence, when the opportunity came in front of her to lend her voice to a song, she decided to go for it as she wants to give more than 100% to this film,” the source added.
It is primarily set in Norway and was shot in the European country of Estonia. Due to Covid induced challenges, its didn’t get visas to shoot in Norway. Hence, it reportedly was then shot in Estonia in a bio-bubble space, in the second half of 2021.
