Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani have worked on its music. It released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu.
It has outperformed much higher profile Hollywood films Tar, Babylon, The Whale, The Fabelmans and Knock at the Cabin to emerge one of the year’s massive new releases in three weeks of its release at the Box-office.
It consists of chase scenes, magnificent cars, motorbikes and jet-powered wingsuits, incredible stunts, unlimited battle scenes, superb locations across the globe. The movie has been a blockbuster despite irrelevant protests by right wing groups that took place in India.
The chief executive of distributor Mind Blowing Films, Mitu Bhowmick Lange seems astonished by how prominent Pathaan has been across the world. “I knew it would do well because it’s a big action film from Yash Raj studios and it’s directed by Siddharth Anand, so it had a lot of muscle behind it. Then, of course, it had one of the most loved superstars in the world, Shah Rukh Khan, who was coming back after four years,” she stated as per smh.com.au.

“So I did know it would do well, but I think it’s surpassed everyone’s expectations. It opened number two to Avatar and, for three weeks straight, we’ve had the highest screen average. It’s taken more than Babylon and all these other big Hollywood films, so it’s just been beyond remarkable,” she added.
The most roaring and booming Australian cinemas for Pathaan have been on outskirts closer to south Asian communities instead of the city- Hoyts Chadstone and Village Sunshine in Melbourne and Event Parramatta and Hoyts Blacktown in Sydney.
Its smashing box office records– leading to $4.6 million at its local box office – depicts the increasing impact of south Asian audiences in Australian cinemas and India’s riding sophistication in developing Marvel and DC style franchises with characters placed from shared universes.
