Pixar’s Strategic Comeback After Recent Flops
This success comes after Pixar faced a few bumps in recent years. Both Lightyear (2022) and Elemental (2023) fell short at the box office, leading Pixar to rethink its strategy. In a July 11 interview with Time, Pixar’s Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter admitted that the studio might need to change its approach if future films don’t perform as well.
