The buzz surrounding Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna, also stirred up speculations about a crossover with Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh.

Recent revelations shed light on the shelved crossover scene, poised to be a momentous event for fans on the silver screen.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Vanga had envisaged a post-interval sequence in Animal.

Here’s How Sandeep Reddy Vanga Planned Ranvijay X Kabir Crossover

It was planned that Shahid Kapoor’s intoxicated surgeon, Kabir Singh, would operate on Ranbir Kapoor’s character, Ranvijay Singh Balbir, leading to an iconic exchange.

Detailing the scene, a source disclosed, “After Ranvijay Singh is admitted to the hospital, the doctor assigned to operate on him was Kabir Singh. Vanga had planned a mass sequence featuring the two characters, where a drunk Kabir successfully operates on an injured Ranvijay.”

Following the operation, the two characters engage in a conversation before Ranvijay’s discharge:

Ranvijay: Waise, Aapka Naam Kya Hai? (Hey, what’s your name?)

Kabir: Pure Desh Ko Mera Naam Pata Hai, Kabir… Kabir Singh. Aur Tum? (Well, the whole country knows me, Kabir… Kabir Singh. And you?

Ranvijay: Aaj Ke Baad, Pure Desh Ko Mera Naam Bhi Pata Chal Jayega. Ranvijay… Ranvijay Singh (After today, the whole country will know my name too. Ranvijay… Ranvijay Singh)

After this, the scene where Ranbir walks naked, was planned to celebrate his survival.

However, despite Vanga’s readiness to shoot the scene, Shahid Kapoor’s unavailability due to scheduling conflicts reportedly led to its abandonment.
