Akshay Kumar is one busy actor. Since the beginning of Pandemic, the actor has completed filming on Bell Bottom, Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, and Prithviraj, as well as beginning work on a number of new projects. And reports reveal that two additional films Raksha Bandhan and Cinderella will be completed by the end of October for the Khiladi Kumar.
“Akshay Kumar completed a 28-day schedule of Cinderella in London and straight away air dashed to Delhi to commence work on the final leg of Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re. The actor finishes work on this film by October 15 and will be off to Shimla for another schedule of Cinderella. It’s a 10-day shoot at real locations from October 18, before finally calling it a film wrap,” revealed a source close to the development to Pinkvilla.
Akshay would have shot both Raksha Bandhan and Cinderella in less than 38 days, setting a new record. Following the completion of Cinderella, Akshay will begin filming for his role in Pankaj Tripathi’s Oh My God sequel. “It’s just a 15-day work for Akshay in OMG 2. He will complete the social comedy and then work on a marathon schedule of the ambitious action adventure, Ram Setu,” the source added. According to reports, the Abhishek Sharma-directed film would be shot in Sri Lanka for 40 days beginning in mid-November.
Beginning in January, Akshay will star in filmmaker Raj Mehta’s forthcoming suspense thriller Driving License. In the Karan Johar film, he plays a superstar who is pitted against Emraan Hashmi, who plays a cop. Apart from his digital debut, The End, which will hit theatres by the end of March, he also has a comedy with Priyadarshan in the works. Meanwhile, Akshay is preparing for the premiere of Rohit Shetty’s cop thriller Sooryavanshi in theatres.
