Here’s a huge update for all the fans of ‘Rocking Star’ Yash! The team of his next mega-project, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups, has successfully completed its most challenging schedule in Mumbai. The film is now one step closer to completion, with only the final leg of shooting left.
The ambitious project, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is being mounted on a massive scale, and the latest update promises a cinematic treat for audiences everywhere.
A Massive Action Schedule In Mumbai
The Mumbai schedule of Toxic was no ordinary shoot. Spanning an intense 45 days, it has been described as one of the most demanding and elaborate action schedules ever filmed in Indian cinema. The shoot involved several high-octane action sequences designed and supervised by Hollywood action director JJ Perry.
With the wrap-up of this mammoth schedule, the majority of the film’s principal photography is now finished. According to sources, the Mumbai leg was a powerful mix of Geetu Mohandas’s unique storytelling and JJ Perry’s world-class action expertise, all brought together by Yash’s vision.
Heading Home to Bengaluru for the Finale
After filming in Mumbai for six long months, the entire unit is now set to head to Bengaluru in the last week of September for the final schedule. This brings the film’s journey full circle, as the very first schedule had also started in Bengaluru. Once this last leg is complete, the filming for Toxic will officially be over.
Following the Mumbai wrap, Yash is also heading to London for some important meetings regarding global partnerships for the film, highlighting its international appeal.
A Unique Blend Of Story And Spectacle
Toxic promises to be much more than just an action film. It is being described as a genre-defying movie that will blend spectacular visuals with an emotionally resonant story. The film is being shot simultaneously in two languages, Kannada and English, to connect with both Indian and global audiences authentically.
For a wider reach, it will also be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. This ambitious vision is backed by KVN Productions and Yash’s own production house, Monster Mind Creations, and is set to be a game-changer.
