Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of the much-awaited actioner Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, co-starring Tiger Shroff, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, among others. The movie, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, will be hitting big screens on Eid 2024.
Akshay’s next after BMCM will be the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Soorarai Pottru, directed by Sudha Kongagra. The movie was supposed to hit screens in February this year but was postponed to keep a long gap between the actor’s last release and BMCM.
Director Nikkhil Advani’s much anticipated, high-energy action-drama, Vedaa, featuring John Abraham and Sharvari is all set to release on the big screen. Brace yourselves for a riveting cinematic adventure as this adrenaline-pumping film is scheduled to hit theatres on July 12th this year, promising an indelible and immersive experience for audiences.

Now producers Vikram Malhotra and Suriya along with Akshay Kumar have locked July 12, 2024, for the theatrical release of the movie that is tentatively titled Sarfira. Suriya, who headlined the original movie, has also played a cameo in the upcoming Hindi remake. Today makers announced the release date and title of remake.

On the other hand, makers of John Abraham starrer Vedaa too announced 12th July as the release date last week. Six years since their successful collaboration on Batla House, Nikkhil Advani and John Abraham reunite to bring forth yet another compelling story. Expressing excitement, Director Nikkhil Advani says, “Vedaa is not just a film. It’s inspired from real events and is a reflection of our society and pushes the boundaries of reality. Working with John, Sharvari and Abhishek Banerjee has been an incredible experience and I’m glad to finally announce the release date and fingers crossed the audiences gets moved the way we all did when we first heard the story of Vedaa.”

It will be one interesting clash at box office as two action stars will fight it out in this clash. Sarfira is biopic and Vedaa is action drama. So both films belong to different genres.
