Several films that were set to be released in January were postponed because to the third wave of Covid-19. Prithviraj was one such picture, and if all went well, it would have hit the big screen on January 21, 2022. The producers, Yash Raj Films (YRF), opted to postpone it indefinitely due to lockdowns and limitations in numerous areas.
Several films’ release dates have been revealed in the recent three to four weeks. The new release dates for all January films were released, and fans were wondering when YRF will announce when Prithviraj would be released in theatres.
YRF has finally put an end to the wait. The makers of the period entertainer Prithviraj just revealed that it will be released on June 10, 2022, exactly four months from today.

Along with the announcement of the release date, the producers quickly published character posters for lead actor Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar, as well as Sonu Sood. Manushi Chhillar will play Princess Sanyogita in her debut film, while Akshay will play the renowned king Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. Sanjay Dutt will play Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’s trusted saamant, Kaka Kanha, while Sonu Sood will portray Chand Vardai.
